1st day back at school

So today was the first day back at school for Liam and Kayla we took them and watched as they went into there rooms its an old school so there are no doors on the classrooms they are open and rather small but its ok coz the class sizes are also small, they took the buss home and Liam told me he already has a friend and homework Kayla also has a friend
so it seams they had a good first day.

can you believe it Chris got an email stating that our stuff had arrived the packers packed me up the Friday after thanksgiving and our stuff got here this Tuesday how fast was that I'm just wondering what condition everything is in ?

ok guys so we are here and its cold as hell It took 3 planes the kids have held up good especially Liam and Ciara Kayla is ok but Damian is all messed up as you can tell by the time on this blog
yesterday we went to Wal-Mart i was happy we saw so much that we had forgotten about and saw lots of new things that you cant get in Guam the kids all got fleece footie pj's and fleece blankets they needed them i got some cord pants and a brown jacket
tomorrow we will be looking at 3 town houses hope 1 works out
i have a cell phone so i can now call all my american friends happy about that also

Goodbye Guam

We just got told on Tuesday at about 12:30pm that our request for an extension in housing was denied and that they will be at my house around 8:30am on Friday morning top start our pack out This all means that we have to move back to Maryland and stay there till immigration is done I'm not shure how long it will take hopefully not to long
So that's all for now ill update when we get to a computer

hi everyone since i have discovered facebook Ive been a bit slack on here
Kayla did a cheerleading performance last Saturday she was great both children had fantastic reports Liam is already is reading at a grade 3 level and they are having a fall feast, I have started bagging groceries at the supermarket Its OK but to get about 100$ you gotta work all day the good thing is you can set your own hours Liam doesn't like me working and is lashing out and being bad
Kayla doesn't like it either but she isn't being naughty I now have my passport but still no word on where we can go

well we did ti Ciara's birthday breakfast was a success we had a few friends over and she had a good time

look who was walking down our footpath yesterday afternoon after a rain storm

Ciara was fascinated with him and Liam and Kayla wanted to keep him but I told them that we saw him while they were at school and daddy had to put him back into the jungle so the dogs wont eat him and that the local people wont turn him into turtle soup ( locals do eat turtles here )

Unfortunately he left with out a name Kayla was upset about that

Thong Cake ( Flip Flop for my American Friends )

I was asked to make a thong cake for a one of Kayla's friend's 5Th birthday.

The little girls favourite colours are blue and red, her mum gave me the flowers, shells, fish, surfboards and dolphins.

I crushed up biscuits for the sand, I also cooked some cupcakes put a letter A on some ( the birthday girls name started with an A)

I was very happy with how it turned out the mum and the birthday girl were happy also.

Kayla had a great first day at school now that she is a Kindy kid she stays all day and gets to eat her lunch in the cafeteria and she also gets to ride the big yellow school bus ( what a joy )

my birthday

Yes I'm another year older i had a OK morning with it being a holiday here

( labour day ) Chris went and played golf in the morning with a couple of people from work

I stayed home with the kids when he arrived home i got to open my gifts and have cake

I got spoiled with lots of underwear shirts and shorts and pants

then i also got a new camera bag and 2 lenses for my camera i took some pictures with it ill post them

I got to go out to tea with my best friend ( Nicole ) and her family we went to TGI Fridays she gave me a bath pack, family picture frame and a set of picture frame coasters

All in all I had a great day

Liam starts grade 2

thismorning was the first day of school for Liam he was excited till it was time to leave with the class then he got a bit sad I think he will have a great day though.

well we got a new kitten this little baby was saved by some people they say he was on the steps of self help in the poring rain and suckers as we are we took him in

the kids love him to death as you can see in the pictures ( no animals were hurt in the taking of these pictures )

VBS

I was in charge of the decorations at VBS ( vacation bible school ) this year and i think we did a great job the well is Styrofoam insulation and the rocks are foam as well the big back scenery was a big piece of cardboard box that we painted and put doors and windows on, the palm trees are big concreat forming tubes that we put real palm leaves in .

I was very happy with the end result it took us a week and a half to get it all done

Kayla got to do 2 weeks of cheerleading alot of her friends were there and she had a good time
