Happy 2008

Happy 2008 everyone I'm hopeful that this year will bring happiness to all.
Last year we faced allot of heart ache and troubled times as a family ( mum dad and Lissie included) we did have a little ray of sunshine (Damian).
I hope to get back into my scrapbooking and take more pictures of my kids and Chris, thank you to all who have helped me get through the tough times and the fun times.
My wish is that you all have a wonderful 2008.

the Tree and Santa

We put up the tree on the first weekend of the month it was Caras turn to put the angel on the top and with daddy's help she did a good job.

last Saturday we took the kids to see Santa well the 2 big kids liked him and Damian wasn't fussed it was Ciara who wasn't to shore this year, she cried but we did get a ok picture.

rain gutter regatta

Liam had a race with all the other cub scouts it was called a rain gutter regatta, the boys had to make a boat and blow through a straw to make the boat go down the rain gutter the fastest Liam got a 1st place, 2nd and 2 3rd places we were very proud of him

on the move

Thursday was thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time with Nicole and her family.

they came and ate and just hung out.

Damian also surprised us he scrunched up his legs under himself and inched along the carpet so now he is working on moving.

Halloween

Halloween was such fun this year the kids had a blast going from house to house, Chris took the 3 big kids while Damian and I hung out with some friends and gave out the lollies all in all they came home with so much it added up to half a pillow case full.

Ciara's Birthday

Ciara had a great time on her birthday all her friends came to help her celebrate by the end of the day she fell asleep on the couch being 2 is going to be allot of work

New camera

Chris got us a new camera. Se our old one was playing up so he comes home on Friday ( ciara's birthday) with a cannon rebel here are a few shots he took he was just playing around

I took the one of Liam with the flag at a cub scout pack meating and the one of Ciara and Damian today at the pool.

Damian's Baptism

Damian was baptised on Sunday during mass he was a good boy no tears. Thank you to all who came and celebrated with us

On the weekend Liam had his first Cub Scout Camp, He got to shoot a be be gun, play marbles shoot a bow and arrow, carve soap with a pocket knife and let off bottle rockets he had a fantastic time and earned some badges and belt loops.

Swimming lessons

the kids had there first swim lesson's and they had a ball on the first Tuesday there was lightning so class was only 20 min , Thursday was 40 min and we had a make up class on Friday. Liam was swimming from the wall to his teacher and back Kayla put her face into the water and was swimming on her tummy with the teacher holding her , they both loved it and asked when the next lesson was

the foot print

No this isn't your ordinary footprint its not paint its nail polish, I was doing the washing and came out of the laundry to a smell it was nail polish and to my horror i saw a big pile of HOT PINK nail polish on my kitchen floor with a few footprints through it. Some how Ciara got hold of a bottle of nail polish i have no idea how she got it open as the lid was on tight and I'm still trying to remove it from my floor.

Back in the Scrap of things

Yes I'm back to scrapping some pages and here they are

Kayla helped me with her page she picked the flowers there centers and where to put them I think she did a fantastic job and I love the layout.

Pre-K

Hard to believe but my little Girl is at school its only pre-k but she is so excited all morning she asked is "it time to put on my uniform " ," can we go " so i took out traditional photo's by the palm tree in the front garden and daddy came home so he could walk her to school,

there were no tears just see you at pick up.

Pooh Cake

Its been some time but i was asked to make a Pooh cake and i was so happy with it that I'm thinking ill make one for Ciaras birthday
